Room for the garden to breathe.
Branches extending beyond the hedge face made the planting feel less defined. The work focused on bringing those sides back into shape and tidying the tops around the existing growth. Two standalone shrubs received their own shaping, rather than being treated as part of a continuous hedge.

A tidy hedge is about more than its top line. The side faces, ends and transitions between plants all contribute to the view from the lawn, patio and entrance. The finished photos show the existing plants and their natural variations.
